Day 17

Travemünde –> Stockholm
Okay, so we didn’t get any breakfast on the boat because it was too expensive so we drew for like an hour and then we stopped and got breakfast. Then we had to stop again because everybody had to go to the bathroom. But when we got to the gas station it was unmanned so it wasn’t a bathroom there so we had to go to another place to go to the bathroom, a whole lot driving around for just one rest stop.
Then we drew on, next stop was next to a red lake in Småland. I promise the bottom of the lake was brick red and the water was so nice. I wish I could have dived in and swam for a while but we had to keep going. Next stop was at a motel/restaurant with a really nice salad, I had an ice cream too. Then we drew for a while and listened to the Netherland – Slovakia game on the radio but I fell asleep because nothing happened. Then my dad starts yelling at me that I’ll get a headache if I sleep like that and then I couldn’t sleep anymore.
So that’s it people, I’m home now and if you want to see any pictures from the trip just ask me, I have loads. But I’m not going to upload any of them, I’m too lazy.

Day 16

Adenau –> Travemünde
Boring day, the only thing that really happened was that we were on a tank museum in Munster. It’s was kind of interesting to see all those old tanks. If you want pictures just send a message to Tom, he has like a 100 pictures from the museum.
That’s pretty much all we did all day, except for sitting in the car all day.

Day 15

Adenau
Nothing special happened today, we met up with a family friend at an old-timer mc-race and watched old mc that I’m still amazed over how they’re still running. We had lunch there and I got two slushy’s! One with cherry taste and one with blueberry taste, my lips, my teeth and my tongue were blue after that slush, it was so much fun. Then we had dinner with some friends at a really nice place, and the food, I mean my food was so good. I had Norwegian salmon, it was amazingly good. I tell you, I’ve never had so good salmon before. Then back to the hotel bar to have a drink and now to bed. You know what? I’m just going to watch another episode of friends before I hit bed. No I’m not at all addicted to watching friends, I promise!

Day 14

Adenau
Have you ever heard of something as stupid as Midsummer Day? Well it’s today and god damn it my mom wanted me to put on a dress! But I sneaked out of it and I and Tom decided to go swimming at the swimming hall here in Adenau, it was really fun and now I’m a little bit more tanned then I was before and my hair looks really blond.
Then we went to the hotel and sat and had lunch with a friend of mom and dad and watched a football match on TV. I can’t remember which teams were playing but anyhow. After that we went back to the room and got ready for a BBQ at a friend’s house, I didn’t eat anything because I had too much to eat at lunch so I was already full. But it was nice, we talked and laughed and listened to great music. When the sun set I got really tired so dad came with me and Tom to the hotel room to let us in because we only have one key so, if we had taken the keys mom and dad wouldn’t have come in. And guess what I did when I was back at the room? I watched some more friends! And then I fell asleep, fun day huh?

Day 13

Munich –> Adenau
Today was so much fun! First when we got up they went down to get some breakfast and I stayed on the room because I didn’t feel like eating. When they came back my mom had a sandwich for me with nut-cream on, it was so awesome! Then when we had packed our things into the car we went to BMW Welt and the BMW Museum, which was awesome too. They have so much cool things there, I tell you Munich is a shit town but it’s worth going there just to go and see BWM Welt and the museum. And, from the bridge between BMW Welt and the museum you could see the Olympia stadium. It’s a really cool building actually. After the museum we drew to Dachau to see the former concentration camp. I got really sad being there because of its history and that stuff so I didn’t want to go around so much but you should have see the size of that place, oh my god, and can you believe that there were like 200,000 people that had to work and die there just because of the Nazis? It’s sick and I know that there are places like Auschwitz but I haven’t been there so I don’t know how it looks but from the look of Dachau that was one of the first camps so it became a model for how the concentration camps were suppose to look.
After Dachau we headed towards Adenau. We stopped two timed because it’s quite a long trip. At the first stop we had toilet break and bought some chips, at the next stop it was McDonalds and we had dinner. I’ve missed the McFeast so much, yeah I’m crazy but before we left I was in a McFeast hole and I had eaten a lot of McFeast. Then when we finally got to Adenau the receptionist said that they had moved us to another room, or it was actually a apartment with three rooms so me and Tom have separate rooms and mom and dad are staying in the room with the double bed, it’s a really cool apartment.
Then I couldn’t sleep so I watched friends until I fell asleep. Which I know was after 2 o’clock.

Day 12

Innsbruck –> Munich
This day started pretty good but ended in disaster!
So, we headed off towards Munich and I got to sit in the front seat! Woho! First and last time ever on this trip… anyhow, it was a really “Schöner Straße” As my dad keep nagging about, and his damn “Gemüse”! I tell you, it’s really getting on my nerves.
When we at last came to Munich we had to drive to 4 different hotels before we decided to go to tourist information because every damn hotel was full. The lady on the tourist information said that they had a family room at a “Gast House” near the Olympia Park, so we said ok. It’s just that when we came to the right address it was a “Jugen Gast House” which is like a hotel for kids under 18 that are on a school trip or something. So both my mom and dad were really disappointed, well, I was disappointed too, I mean who wants to stay at a hotel that looks like the army/a concentration camp? Plus that there were like 10-20 school classes staying there as well so I had to sleep with my ear plugs to get some rest. I didn’t get any rest anyhow because the beds were so damn uncomfortable.
And as the icing on the cake, we had to walk around in like an hour and a half to find a restaurant and when we found one we got an idiot for a waiter. And the food wasn’t that great either. But at the end of dinner we got another waiter and he was funny and kind of cute.
Then we took the subway back to our stop and stopped at a bar and watched the end of the football match between Germany and Ghana. It was a good game and a nice drink and really annoying German football fans.

Day 11

Venice –> Munich
Okay, so we didn’t get all the way to Munich so we stopped at Innsbruck and stayed there for the night, the hotel was really great, it was an apartment with two rooms so I didn’t have to sleep in the same room as dad, yey! He snores pretty much so. Yeah I don’t want to sleep in the same room as him. The dinner was great too.
So I guess you could say it was a succeeded day. It was nice weather for once too, so the Italian trip wasn’t a total waist, I didn’t get the tan I wanted but I was only out in the sun for like 45 minutes so, it doesn’t count.

Day 10

Venice
So we took the boat-buss into Venice today, it was pretty nice even though it was raining back and forth all day. I bought a carnival mask and the necklace Arwen gives to Aragon in the fellowship of the ring, Evenstar. It’s so pretty!
The lunch was pretty good too, but it was expensive, I tell you, don’t eat lunch in the middle of Venice while it’s tourist season, but on the other hand, everything was kind of expensive in Venice.
Nothing exiting happened today other then that I had a huge pain in my feet after all that walking.
Oh yeah, and we had a awesome dinner at a Chinese restaurant, that was the best restaurant so far!

Day 9

Venice (Lido)
Rain, all fucking day!
How fun do you think it is to be in Italy when it’s raining? Not so much, there’s nothing to do! So when mom, dad and Tom decided to take the car and look at the island I stayed at the hotel and watched Friends. When they came back they decided that we had to eat lunch so I went with them into town and we had pizza and bought some snacks. Then back to the hotel and watching Friends again. Then we had dinner that was really gross and then more Friends and then sleep, fun day in Venice right?

Day 8

Berchstesgaden –> Venice
So we decided not to go to Wien because I and Tom didn’t want to go there. So we drew over the Grossglockner passage and it was 2504 m high and it was snow and +2C, It was fun but scary at the same time because it was misty as hell up there. I and Tom threw snowballs! Then on the way down it wasn’t as misty so it wasn’t that scary, and then we continued towards Venice.
When we got to the ferry that was going to take us to the island where we were going to live called Lido, the weather was really unstable and the clouds were really cool, by the time we got to Lido it was raining.
We drew though all Lido to the hotel that was on the opposite side then the ferry terminal. Then we had dinner and had a little walk to see where we were staying. It’s a really nice island, if it’s not raining.

Day 7

Berchstesgaden
We were up in the Eagles Nest today. It was so awesome although when we came up it was super misty. But after lunch it started to clear up so we could see all the way to Salzburg! Then when we came down again we had to talk back to a cable railway thingy, you know with a cabin where you sit and it takes you up and down? Anyhow, we walked over 13,000 steps that day, I had such sore muscles in my legs when we got back to the room.

Day 6

Prague –> Berchstesgaden
Damn it! My stupid little brother wants to go to Berchstesgaden so we’ve pouched forward the Venice trip. The place we stayed in was pretty nice, it was a old house up on a hill or at the wall of a mountain, I don’t really know. But mom, dad and Tom went to eat some dinner and I stayed at the room and watched friends because I didn’t feel so well. Then mom came back and gave me a nuggets burger, it was really nice. And then we slept.

Day 5

Prague
Okay, so Prague is a boring town, we woke up at like 11, slept for 11 hours which was really nice, and now I’m hells tired so I’m going to head to bed now instead of sit up. We had a private guide today and he was alright although he smoked a lot and made me like, really want to have a cigarette but I managed and I think it’s good because that means that I’ve really quit smoking. After the tour of the city we had like a hour of free time before it was time to head to dinner, so I went to look at some cloths at New Yorker and decided that I have to shop at New Yorker when I get home again. Then we headed to the meeting point and a car picked us up and drew us to the boat where we had a different view of the city and ate really gross food. Back at the hotel I chatted some with my friends and I realized that they don’t have to send me text messages to let me know that they miss me, they can just tell me over msn. So I’m happy again and tomorrow we’re going to Venice.

Day 4

Berlin -> Prague
Okay, so today really sucked. Got in the car around noon and then sat in the car to Dresden and ate and then sat in the car for way to long and finally arrived at Prague at around 7 pm. We relaxed at the hotel for a while and then went to a nearby restaurant to eat. The food was awesome and the service was nice.  Our waiter was so cute!
Tom got a text message from a friend today that said that he missed him. I wonder if I’ll get any messages from friends that’ll say that I’m missed back home…

Day 3

Berlin
The stupid, annoying hotel phone woke me up this morning. Mom called. At 8 fucking am, just to say that its 8 o’clock and that they’re going down for breakfast soon. So yeah, we went down and ate and decided that we should take a tourist bus and then go to a museum called “The Story of Berlin” the bus ride was nice, except that it was freezing, I got some great pictures at some nice places. When we got to the place of the museum with the bus we decided it was time for lunch, the food there was awesome, but the service was crap. Then we went in the wrong direction when we looked for the museum but we found it.
It was a cool museum, all about the history of Berlin, 800 years to be exact. We even went down a nuclear bomb shelter. I tell you, I do not want to spend any time at all in that bunker, god, I would go insane right away.
After the tour in the bunker we walked to a café and had a coffee and some cakes. Then we took the subway back to the hotel and tried to decide which restaurant to go to. We picked one that was just over the street. It was pretty nice, the waitress was hot and the food was awesome.
And when I was in the lobby chatting with some friends I saw a mouse outside the window, it was so tiny and cute!!

Day 2

Travemünde -> Berlin
God damn it… I didn’t get any sleep at all so this day is going to suck, Tom were sleeping in the car from the time we left the boat. I really like the nature in Germany. It’s always so green here. It goes well with Owl City in the headphones. “Oh darling I wish you were here…”
One thing that’s been bothering me is the Netherlander license plates, they’re yellow!  At least in the back, haven’t seen the front yet so I don’t know about that.
Talk about Germany and Autobahn, my dad is driving in like, 180 km/h and then we have to leave the highway to move onto another one, and the speed in the turn is like 80 km/h and it feels like its 30 km/h. Do you understand the feeling I’m searching for? On the other hand my dad is a crazy driver so it’s really hard to sit in the backseat and type at the same time as he’s driving. I hope we get to Berlin soon. And I hope it doesn’t rain all day. I want sun so I can get a tan and get home a bit tanner then before, I’m so pale that it’s scary.
We stopped to eat in a small town that I can’t remember the name on which was just right outside Berlin. It was a nice pizza I tell you, yummy. Tom had to take half of it with him because the waitress wouldn’t let us go without it.
When we came to Berlin we went to Tourist information Brandenburger Tor to get a map and book a hotel. And you know what we saw? A fucking BMW z8!! That’s like the most uncommon BMW you can find, I mean I don’t even think that that car can be found in Sweden, so that was epic. And we saw a Hummer H1 limo that you could rent for about €10/person for 45 minutes.
After the tourist information we went to the hotel. It’s a nice hotel and all, but you only get free internet in the lobby so that sucks.
After we’d moved all our bags to the rooms we decided to go see the Berlin wall and Checkpoint Charlie. Then we found a nice café and watched the F1 race, awesome btw that they showed F1 because we all wanted to see that race. After that we headed back to the hotel, I stayed on the room playing Step Mania and watching FRIENDS and Tom went down to the lobby to annoy the people there. The beds here are pretty nice which is good because we’re staying here another night.
It’s not awesome weather here either, but as my dad said “we’re not sweating and we’re not getting wet, so it’s all good”

Day 1

Stockholm -> Malmö
Sitting in the car half of the day wasn’t such a success. Mom woke me up at about 9.30 and said that I couldn’t sleep anymore because we had to get ready to leave. I ate breakfast with my brother and then I took out the cloths that I was going to take along. I packed it in a bag and started to put things on my bed that I wanted to take along on the ride like my gameboy, my psychology books, some crossword puzzles and my computer. When I was ready my dad hadn’t even begun to pack his things, which wasn’t something new because he always does that, when everybody ells is finished then he can start to get ready.
We were in the car around 1 and were heading down towards Malmö. We stopped after just 30 minutes to buy lunch at McDonalds. After that there were like, 3 hours of driving down to Jönköping where we had our second stop, mom and dad wanted coffee, like I’m surprised they didn’t stop sooner. Anyhow, we got down to Malmö and had dinner at some random place, I don’t know how they found it because I was busy playing Step Mania. The food look like something you find in a school cafeteria, I mean, I’m on vacation from school I don’t want to eat school food when not it school. Well, at least it didn’t taste like it looked so it was alright. Then we got onboard the boat mom and dad went to the bar and I and my brother stayed in the cabin watching TV.
